Keith John

Managing Director

Keith has over 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry, both in Australia and in Asia, and is the founder of Pioneer Credit. He has received numerous awards, including being recognised as one of Western Australia’s most exceptional young business leaders in the WABN ‘40 Under 40’ Awards. Under his stewardship, Pioneer Credit was included in the BRW Fast 200 at number 26, an award which showcased Australia’s fastest growing businesses (2006). Keith has a strong interest in philanthropy and through his business and directorships supports numerous charitable organisations across Australia. He is also an industry leader, serving on a number of industry bodies. In addition to his role as Managing Director of Pioneer Credit, Keith is an Executive Director of Midbridge Investments Pty Ltd and a Non-Executive Director of Box International Pty Ltd, publisher of the leading Australian luxury magazine ‘Box Magazine’.


Leslie Crockett

Chief Financial Officer

Leslie was appointed as the company’s Chief Financial Officer in late 2012. A chartered accountant, Leslie has experience working within a range of industries including financial services, property development, construction, retail and manufacturing. Prior to joining Pioneer he was a divisional finance executive for a leading ASX listed property development, construction and real estate investment group. Leslie holds a Diploma of Business from Melbourne Business School and has previously been a manager at a major global accounting and business consulting firm.



Sue Symmons

Company Secretary

Sue joined Pioneer Credit as General Counsel and Company Secretary, effective 1 October 2015. Sue has over 25 years’ experience as a company secretary including positions with Heytesbury Pty Ltd and ASX listed Evans & Tate Ltd, Automotive Holdings Group Limited and Helloworld Limited. Most recently, she has worked as a consultant providing company secretarial and financial services to a number of ASX listed and unlisted companies. Sue holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University and a Master of Business Law from the University of NSW and is a member of the Governance Institute of Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
